The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will close the eastbound Interstate 64 exit ramp at 11th Street the week of March 22 for bridge rehabilitation work.
MoDOT officials said the exit ramp will remain closed until June 2010.
The westbound Interstate 64 exit ramp at Ninth Street closed during the week of February 22 for bridge work. The exit ramp will also remain closed until June 2010. MoDOT officials said westbound motorists can continue to detour at Memorial Drive or at 2100 Market Street. The closures are part of the MoDOT’s planned bridge rehabilitation projects.
“MoDOT is being very cautious with our actions to keep our ramps and bridges as safe as possible,” said Deanna Venker, MoDOT area engineer for St. Louis.
