A Valley Park man was injured this morning in a boat explosion at the Lake of the Ozarks. According to the Missouri State Water Patrol, Donald Black had just finished fueling his boat, turned on the ignition and the boat exploded. Black jumped into the water to get off the boat and was flown to Columbia University Hospital for burn injuries. He is listed in serious condition.
