The Rockwood School District has named Dr. Bruce Borchers to take over the top post.

Borchers currently serves as the associate superintendent of secondary schools for the Anoka- Hennepin (MN) School District. Rockwood is the largest school district in St. Louis County.
An informational reception will be held Thurs., Feb. 11, from 6 – 7 p.m., at the Clarkson Valley Early Childhood Center (2730 Valley Rd., Chesterfield) for Rockwood parents and patrons to meet Dr. Borchers.
The Board plans to vote to approve the contract with Borchers at their regularly scheduled meeting, immediately following the reception.
Rockwood launched a nationwide search in September 2009 to replace Dr. Craig Larson, who is retiring at the end of this school year.
