No more Monday blues for a lucky Powerball player who won a $1 million.
The Missouri Lottery said the winning ticket was sold at a Quik Trip in Fenton for the Feb. 6 drawing. The new millionaire matched all five white ball numbers drawn, 14, 22, 52, 54 and 59, to win the second-tier prize of $200,000. But the player also purchased the Power Play option for an extra dollar, that $200,000 was automatically converted into a $1 million payout.
Powerball winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winner has until Aug. 5 to present the winning ticket at one of the Lottery’s four offices in St. Louis, Jefferson City, Springfield or Kansas City.
